Privacy Policy for the Apps of Nelten Public GmbH

Privacy information on the tool apps of Nelten Public GmbH: local entries, Google AdMob, consent, storage period and data subject rights.

1. Controller

Nelten Public GmbH
Grimmstraße 37
01139 Dresden
Represented by the managing director (Geschäftsführer) Jens Haake
Email: info@kostenia.de

Further information about the provider can be found in the legal notice (Impressum).

2. Principle

Our apps work without an account and without signing in. The apps do not store entries permanently and do not transfer them to us. Android may keep ongoing entries temporarily restorable on the device.

Apart from the Google advertising services described below, we do not use any analytics or tracking services of our own.

3. Advertising with Google AdMob

To finance them, the apps display banner ads via Google AdMob. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) checks every time the app starts whether a consent request is required. The scope and type of advertising depend on the choices made in this consent request. Further advertising partners are shown in the partner list displayed there.

According to Google’s own information, Google may in particular process the IP address and the approximate location derived from it, the device’s advertising ID and app set ID, interactions with the app and with ads, and diagnostic data. The data may be used to serve and measure ads, for analytics and for fraud prevention, and may be transferred in encrypted form. The partners, purposes and legal bases that apply to the respective choice are shown in the consent request. Where processing is based on consent, the legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time in the app under “About” > “Change ad consent”. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in the Android settings.

Google may also process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy, in the information on data from partner sites and apps and in Google’s frameworks for international data transfers and the Data Privacy Framework.

4. Google Play

The app is downloaded and updated via Google Play. Google itself is responsible for this; Google’s Privacy Policy applies.

5. Storage period

We do not store entries made in the apps permanently. Android may keep ongoing entries temporarily restorable on the device. The consent information required to apply the advertising choices is stored locally on the device. Google and the advertising partners shown in the consent request store data in accordance with their own policies and the retention periods stated there.

6. Contact by email

If you write to us at info@kostenia.de, we process your message in order to reply to it (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete it once it has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) as well as the right to withdraw consent with effect for the future. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example with the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte).
